  1. While I am happy to contribute to your brother's project (I'll copy him via email), my intention in filling out the survey was to share this data with you. I think you may find it to be an interesting read. Your brother will have my email address is you want to respond.

    Country/State: USA, California

Do you live in a city, a suburb, or a rural area?: A city, San Francisco.

    Age: 41

Religion: I practice a sort of gnosticism but not in the christian sense. I will tolerate no dogma or spiritual intermediary. I intend to explore the spiritual aspect of existence personally.

    Gender: Male

Occupation: self-employed. I sell paperback books online and I have a website where I sell ebooks.

    1. On average, do you make less than $200, $200-500, $500-1000, or more than $1000 a week? It varies. Some weeks, 400-500$, but I recently posted some new titles so I've had over $2800 in ebook sales in the last 7 days. Paperback sales have also been brisk in recent months but I don't have that data with me presently.

    2. On average, how much money do you spend a week? I've no idea. I have no savings, but I do invest in paperbacks. Books seem a safer way to store wealth than any of the global currencies.

    3. Do you consider yourself a wealthy person? I consider myself to have been very fortunate in recent years. I feel like I lead a rich life. I no longer insist on buying something with the lowest price, searching instead to get something of the highest quality possible. I still need to shop wisely, but when I bought a juicer it was Horum Slow Juicer. When I bought a water filter it was a Reverse Osmosis unit. I am not rich, but I aspire to be as healthy as possible which can be expensive.

    4. Do you consider yourself a happy person? Yes, most definitely.

    5. What kind of objects do you think make or would make you happy? My lady love plays a big part in my happiness. I've been in a relationship for 12 years and my love and understanding continues to grow. It's good but the relationship alone does not ensure my happiness. I could be with her and still be miserable but for the success I have had online. Without my computer I would be destitute, at least for a while. I found a nitch online, one that allows me to live a free life, without a boss or a schedule that still pays well.

    6. What kind of activities do you think make or would make you happy? Sleeping until I wake up with no alarm set, living my life with no watch and no boss, having nobody's expectations to meet except my own, and despite the complete lack of pressure or stress finding my business to be successful and growing more so over time.

    7. I took this question out in order to make this post small enough to post here.

    8. What is the most important thing in your life that you feel makes you happy? Being my own boss, and being nobody's tool. Being able to pierce through the propagated delusional reality most people live in helps a lot of course. Before I killed my television I didn't know what to think. After I killed my television I knew exactly what to think, but none of the people I knew wanted to hear it.

    9. What is the most important thing you want in your life that you do not currently have that you believe would make you happier? I want to relocate to another country. I am currently leaning towards going to Holland. Late in his life Robert Anton Wilson said that if his health would allow it he would move to Amsterdam. He said that he thought he'd be happier there and provided good reasons why he felt that way.

    10. Do you think that more money could help you achieve your answer to #9? Without a doubt it would help, but the money is coming to me. That is my karma. All that I will require to realize my dream is the will and the courage. Wish me luck. :-)
